Get Space is tackling an ambitious new project called Portland & Johnson (PJON) located at 4403 SE Johnson Creek Boulevard, Portland, OR. The new 80,000+ sf facility will include an adaptive reuse of an existing 21,000 sf warehouse, as well as new construction component, culminating in four levels of state-of-the-art self storage. The existing 1959 warehouse, once a SpacePak manufacturing and distribution facility, sits at the border of Southeast Portland and Milwaukie, Oregon.
The PJON Get Space facility will fill a need in a highly under-served community along Johnson Creek between Highway 99 (SE McLoughlin Blvd) and I-205. This bustling community is home to Reed College, Eastmoreland Golf Course, and Clackamas Town Center. However, the Woodstock, Sellwood, Moreland, Ardenwald, Lake Road, and Mount Scott neighborhoods have few storage options currently available, and this new self storage will be the perfect addition to the area.
"At Get Space we're all about pinpointing precise locations," said Daniel Lyman, Co-Founder & Principal of Get Space. "We knew SE Portland was a key location for us and the timing on this building was perfect!"
