If Vancouverites were happy to hear that Get Space is coming to Salmon Creek with V139, they'll be ecstatic to learn that a second Vancouver, Washington, Get Space facility has been announced with an anticipated opening in Q3 of 2016. The newest facility, at the intersection of Ward Road and NE Fourth Plain, is aptly dubbed VWAR and will serve residents of Walnut Grove, Five Corners, Mill Plain, and Orchards.
VWAR's 580 units will neatly fill over 80,000+ square feet within three brand new buildings. The self storage facility will meet the needs of even the most particular customer, with exterior drive-up units, interior temperature-controlled units, covered loading bays, and only the best in self storage security measures.
In a big environmental move, the site will feature two large retention ponds to manage storm water runoff and improve water quality in the area. Get Space continuously seeks new ways to practice thoughtful stewardship of natural resources. Co-founder Benjamin Bradley says of the project, "We aren't in the business of building impersonal metal boxes. We want to connect with our community and our site."
